Additional Information: House Cleaners at 412 Clean Teams usually clean client homes on their own, but will sometimes work with another cleaner if the house is very large. Cleaners use company-issued supplies and training, their own vehicle and cell phone and typically work at least 4 days a week between the hours of 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (sometimes a little less, sometimes a little more). Generally speaking, House Cleaners usually clean one or two homes a day, 4 or 5 days a week. Cleaners carry in a caddy full of supplies, a vacuum cleaner and a mop and bucket, and execute a standard task list. In a nutshell, House Cleaners organize, dust, wipe down surfaces, clean glass, bathrooms and kitchens, vacuum and mop the floors and move on to the next home.
Based on our client feedback, we understand that we clean a little more deeply than most of our competitors, but not as deeply as some. We’re not a “white glove” cleaning service, but we don’t try to clean 4-5 houses a day like some companies do. To get an idea about how deeply we clean: we scrub tubs and sinks, we don’t just spray and wipe. We get the built-up grime off of stovetops. We pick up door mats and clean underneath them, and we pull out the chairs to clean under dining room tables. If a client leaves a pile of shoes by the door, we pick them all up, clean under them, and put them back neatly.
The owner of 412 Clean Teams has 30 year’s experience managing teams of 50+ staff, and companies with annual budgets in excess of $4 million dollars. 412 Clean Teams has been in operation for 2 ½ years and focuses in the residential space for homeowners and property managers. We have 60 routine residential clients and 3 property managers who regularly hire us to clean their homes. Since our founding, we’ve cleaned over 2,000 properties, and we are ready to grow.
There are several benefits to working with 412 Clean Teams. We are fully compliant with all state and federal employment regulations including regular hourly pay, tips, profit sharing, reimbursement for mileage traveled between jobs, weekly paychecks via direct deposit, and contributions to our employees’ social security, fica, unemployment, and worker’s compensation accounts. We pay all of our taxes regularly and on time and are well-insured against liabilities.
Employees report that the best things about working for 412 Clean Teams are: flexibility, pay, the relaxed, peaceful atmosphere, and management’s commitment to putting employees first. While profitable, profit is not our first motive. Instead, we believe that a business absolutely devoted to service and focused on healthy relationships with its staff will lead naturally to growth. At the end of the day, we believe that it is our job to create value for employees AND clients. Customers come and go for various reasons, but staff are really the only reason any of this even works.
We provide onboarding and training and offer management opportunities to employees who are successful and wish to advance. Lastly, we provide routine regular performance assessments to our team members. We aim to have honest and open communication with everyone and live by the tenet that our human resources are more important to 412 Clean Teams than any other factor.
We find the work we do for our clients really meaningful and satisfying. We take care to select clients carefully and are only interested in those that truly appreciate our work. If we start to get the impression that a client doesn’t respect us and the work we do, we kindly and gently let them go to find another provider that isn’t as focused on employee wellness as 412 Clean Teams.
If, after reading the above description, you remain interested in working with us, please send us a message and let us know. We will then ask you to verify the information submitted on your resume, as well. We understand that Indeed is a good, but imperfect platform, and sometimes it’s challenging to keep resumes up to date.
Once we have verified that your resume is current and correct, we will carefully consider your experience, the time you’ve spent at each previous job, the tasks performed at those jobs, and how that relates to our work, here.
If you should be offered and accept a job with us, your schedule will begin with training at a few homes. Over time, we’ll ramp up your schedule to include additional homes until your schedule is as full as you would like it to be.
We thank you for reading all of this. We know it’s a lot, but we want to be sure that you are truly interested before we move forward in considering your application. We are and will remain grateful for your time and consideration.
Best regards,
